Unsolicited Commercial E-mail Policy Statement

It is against ORC’s policy to send Unsolicited Commercial E-mail on our behalf or on behalf of our clients.

ORC will only send E-mail survey invitations on behalf of our clients if the E-mail recipients have consciously registered their E-mail addresses with the client with the expectation that they will receive E-mails from the client or from Opinion Research Corporation.

ORC will not E-mail to addresses which have been obtained illegally, or by any method that violates the acceptable use policies of Internet service providers or news group moderators, including, but not limited to:

• Obtaining E-mail names from news group contributors
• Obtaining E-mail names from "opt-out" E-mail lists
• Randomly generating E-mail names
• Reusing single-use E-mail lists

Should ORC learn that the E-mail addresses were obtained in violation with this policy, or should ORC receive complaints from the E-mail recipients, ORC will immediately terminate further E-mail invitations from the list, and may, after consultation with client, terminate the survey.

Unsolicited Commercial E-mail which contains links to ORC sites may not be sent out by organizations other than ORC without express written permission. Should ORC learn that such bulk E-mails have been sent, ORC reserves the right to immediately terminate all related survey services, and pursue appropriate legal action.
